Chase Planner
Enter the chase as it stands. You get the equation, and a what-if table: if the batting side scores at a given rate for the next few overs, what rate will they need after that?

What-if table
Each cell: the required rate for the rest of the chase after scoring at the column's rate for that many overs. Green is easier than now, red is harder.
How it works
Required rate = runs needed ÷ (balls left ÷ 6). Overs are counted in legal balls, so 14.4 overs means 14 overs and 4 balls (88 balls), never 14.4 decimal overs.
The table is arithmetic, not a forecast. It ignores wickets in hand, the pitch, and rain rules (DLS), so it can't say who will win. Use it to see how quickly a chase slips away or comes back.
